Really great show!  The humor definitely resonates with anyone who works in an office environment.  The script is very well-written, and the actors' improv is decent too.

The actors were really good, and a couple were absolutely fantastic (the HR rep comes to mind).  I thought there was enough audience participation without it being embarassing for people or over-the-top.

Also, the bar offers $1 beers (Heineken and Bud Light) for people attending the show -- awesome deal that makes the show even more fun!

Funny, un-PC but real enough.  Actors were good, script was strong.  Improv needed more help from audience.  It's worth the price of admission.

Hi all!
This is my first review on yelp! I just moved here 3 months ago from Minneapolis, MN so am quite new to Boston. I  am a fan of theater and acocmpanied a friend to this new show, FishNet-NetWorks this past weekend. My friend knew someone on the cast, so I tagged along not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised! This show was a riot!

I have never seen a stage show in this format. I have seen audience interactive shows like Tony and Tina's wedding before. This is very different!  It is actually a comedy of a corporate meeting! It is audience interactive but not over the top to make anyone uncomfortable.

Basically, the show is based on this company, Fishnet networks, and has its whole management team of about 12-13 corporate stereotypes. The whole show is a meeting where the audience are new employees of the company. To get you into the show right away, as you are walking in, they give you FishNet company name tags! very cute!

The actors were awesome! I LOVED the woman who played the HR Rep! and the actor who played the Indian IT Guy!  Basically, each member of managerment went up to give a presentation on what they did for the company, basically hilarious exagerations of a real meeting. Because I work in a company, I absolutely related to it! The twist is that the audience gets to vote for who gets fired by actually TEXT polling a vote!

Overall, a VERY fun show that I highly recommend!! I do warn you, this is very shocking and politically incorrect in parts, and can be considered offensive by some. But if you like politically incorrect humor, check out this new show!!

"Super funny"

I caught this show last weekend and thought it was a very funny send up of the current working world. The basic premise is you are a new hire at some sort of high tech company, sitting through an orientation. You hear from the CEO, marketing guy, tech guy, HR woman, etc. They're just like people in your office, except completely insane. The cast has a lot of fun and enjoy interacting with the (somewhat) rowdy audience. There is some audience interaction and improv, but not too much. I highly recommend seeing this!

I went to see the opening of this show on its opening night, April 16, and did not know what to expect for something so new! It was REALLY funny! If you liked politically incorrect, office satire, this is hilarious. Every line is so cleverly written and there is constant chaos with the very funny (and large!) cast! Great show! I highly recommend it! Collapse

I caught this brand new show this past rainy weekend at the DoubleTree Hotel in Boston. I did not know what to expect with a new show, but it was SOOOOO funny! There was not a single instance of boredom. The characters were all so funny and different from each other. I am a big fan of office comedies since I work in a corporation. This is an awesome office comedy! I warn people that some parts will definitely make you cringe (in a good way!) The lighting and sound could have been better but content wise was REALLY funny. I have seen many shows in Boston such as Blue Man Group, Shear Madness and many Broadway shows that come to the Theatre District. I loved the exagerated corporate characters! Reminded me of my work! It had improvised parts, but frtunately there was no forced participation by the audience and no ragging on the audience. There was just the right amount of improv. Go and enjoy this crazy new show! I have a feeling it will be in Boston for a long time!!

Fishnet-Networks is #1! I'll be back- by balde
"The show was a blast for high tech geeks and non-geeks alike, including my fifth grade son who particularly enjoyed MIKES and has been quoting him a week later. There were so many funny jokes and double/triple/quadriple entendendres! I am making arrangements to attend one or two more times! It was SO much fun!"

I went to see this last night. It is a very funny send-up of corporate life, with significant improv, meaning the show changes every night. Think of an even more politically incorrect "The Office" meets "Who's Line is it anyway?"
The characters are frequently very funny, and I recognized many from my different office jobs. Also, it is interactive which means the audience gets involved throughout (and may even get a little wet).  The audience also gets to vote at intermission which character could get fired (via text message) - so the performance changes nightly based on audience participation.
All in all a very fun evening. Highly recommended!

I am very picky about the shows I see. This one pleasantly surprised me. With what's out there, this show clearly diffentiates itself with its characterization and content. Very smartly written show. I could totally relate to most of the crazy "corporate stereotypes." I wasn't bored even for a second. This show keeps you engaged from start to finish! Boston theater needs a new, intelligent, refreshing show like this. This is a winner!

This show is a lot of fun!
The characters are full of energy and one-liners.  They keep the audience engaged and guessing.  The set up and scene work is great and the acting talent is top shelf.

The audience participation is minimal and gentle so have no fear.
You even get to pick who gets fired.  Come and enjoy.  Bring your friends and office mates.  You cannot beat the value especially at this price.  The dollar beers are a bonus!

The set up is a new hire orientation day. The lines and laughs keep coming throughout with very engaging comedic performances.

Amanda Hurley (Priya Patel) gave an excellent performance as the new hire.  Her performance was emotional and believable.  I had to remind myself it was all an act.  Giovanni Alabiso (Jeff Downer) the Engineer gave an excellent performance as the down and out office guy.  Juliet Bowler came through as the tyrant enforcer (Hannah) the HR director.  Paul Downing also came through consistently with a demanding role as (Burton) the Marketing director.  The truth is they were all great!!
See it now before it ends!!
