"FishNet-NetWorks.Net!" is a hilarious, politically incorrect, parody of a large American computer networking company with an audience-interactive format. “FishNet-Networks.Net” is a fictitious corporation that sells networking products using the worlds’ fish as the network! Are you confused about the product yet? So are all the employees at FishNet-NetWorks.net!
The fun begins as soon as the audience walks in! Each audience member is now a new employee of FishNet-NetWorks.net! A grand corporate kick-off, or “All Fins” meeting, follows in the company’s “Coral Reef” auditorium to welcome all of the new employees, or “guppies” as they are fondly (and annoyingly) called, in a FIN-TASTIC way!
What follows is a chaotic corporate kick-off meeting, which is a blend of an extremely humorous script, insane presentation slides, improvised acting, and audience participation. The kick-off meeting is facilitated by the very "flamboyant" marketing representative, Burton Reynolds. He prettily leads the audience through an introduction of the company, where we meet a series of exaggerated corporate stereotypes who take the audience for a whacky swim through FishNet-NetWorks.Net!
We are sure you have met our employees at YOUR office! From an arrogant, ivy-leagued manager who only speaks in corporate buzzwords, a straight faced Human Resource Representative, a perky blond office ditz, an office pervert, a brown noser, a depressed downer, an Indian technical guru who attempts to explain the incomprehensible product in high-tech terms (and a very heavy accent), and a mob leader for a motivational speaker, to a team full of employees who could care less and want to break every Human Resource rule in the book… FishNet-Networks.Net has it all, complete with cringe-worthy, constant company “fish” lingo!
The audience employees, as well as the actor employees, all participate in ridiculous corporate team building activities that only FishNet-NetWorks.Net can do! Want to play games like “Fisherades” or “FishNet’s Caught Talent!”? Then you have “swum” to the right place!
"FishNet-NetWorks.Net!" gives every audience member the opportunity to poke fun at the American corporate culture and its often humorous attempt at globalization, and to say the things they have always WANTED to say at work, but have never gotten the opportunity (or fish guts) to say! And remember, we are NEVER the same show twice! The audience throws the net! The fish play it out!
